Cunningham Hub launch 28th January

Local residents and community groups will have the opportunity to see the facilities on offer at the Cunningham Community Hub at a special open day on Saturday, 28 January 2012, from 10.30am to 3pm.
Cunningham community building, St Albans City and District Council
They will be able to look round the community centre in Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans and discuss ways in which they can get more involved in the community, either by hosting or attending activities at the centre.
The Deputy Mayor for St Albans City and District, Councillor Geoff Harrison will be launching the event and welcoming local residents and community group representatives.
The Hub was originally a library building and was launched last year as a community facility by St Albans City and District Council following a refurbishment by Hertfordshire County Council.
Members of the Hub’s management committee will be on hand at the open day to discuss how the facilities can be used by any community groups interested in the centre. They are also keen to hear from residents about the kind of activities they would like to see at the Hub.
