Residents in St Albans district will receive the first set of safer neighbourhood newsletters through their letter box this month.

As organised by Hertfordshire Constabulary the newsletters aim to keep residents informed of what is being done to make their area a safer place to live and also contain information to help people contact and engage with the police and access their services.

Households in North Herts and St Albans District and Watford Borough are the first to receive the newsletters, with all localities across the county set to receive the four-page update by the end of February 2014.
